Adjusting some stretch goals

Reports of a significant disruption to operations have the kingpin and his henchmen on edge.
I was chatting with Lon and Rich yesterday and we decided on a little adjustment to the stretch goals for Drug WarZ. We've introduced the Drug WarZ rulebook as a new stretch goal, slotted in between the DEA Agents at $8,000 and the FREE Hitman at $9,500. Let's keep sharing the campaign around and bringing more backers to the cause!

You've done it! Thank you, everyone!
The first stretch goal has been achieved and now you can add possibly the most famous Cartel leader to your collection (along with a couple of Cartel soldiers). To add the Cartel Command 1 pack to your pledge, simply follow these steps:
1. Click on the "Manage your pledge" button on the front page.
2. Click on the "Change your pledge" button on the next page.
3. Increase your pledge total to include the $10 for the Cartel Command 1 pack (plus anything else you'd like to add).
4. Click "Confirm" to confirm your pledge total change.
Easy. Of course, if you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Our next Stretch Goal is the first of the DEA packs, with three agents ready to track down a drug lord. Then we're on to The Hitman, and excellent mini that will be given FREE to everyone who has pledged $70 or more. After that, we're stretching for the Policia Command 1 pack, to provide some strong leadership for the other Policia packs!
Let's keep sharing the project around and get the word out there!
Some more info about Drug WarZ

As we mentioned yesterday, we spoke to Rich about the rules for Drug WarZ, built upon the Iron Ivan game No Room Left in Hell. Here are a few of the questions and answers:
1. How would you describe Drug WarZ (the game)?
What would happen if a popular new synthetic drug was contaminated with an out of control viral agent? Some shadowy government agency thought that eliminating the buyers would be a faster way to end the War on Drugs than trying to eliminate the suppliers. However, the viral agent mutated and instead of simply killing its victim, it took over the host body. It suppressed pain receptors and sought to spread itself. Now, the DEA, the Policia and the Cartel are all trying to contain these outbreaks, but there is still good money to be made on the drug as it is highly addictive. Those that don't "die" and come back as the Ravenous are so addicted that they war amongst themselves trying to get their next fix.
2. What size will the forces be?
You'll have 1 or 2 "heroes" and their supporting agents, soldiers, or horde that follows you. Usually 3-4 units of about 5 models each. A typical game will have about 50 models on the board.
3. Is it scenario based? What types of scenarios can we expect to see?
It will be scenario based. You'll have containment scenarios where DEA and/or Policia are trying to contain a Zombie outbreak at a known drug den or possibly stopping a horde of Ravenous from decimating a small town to score cash for their next fix.
4. Can it be played without the Zombies? Cartel vs DEA for example?
Yes. You will have multiple factions so you can play straight-up drug interdiction if you prefer. The factions will be Cartel, DEA, Policia, Zombies, Ravenous, and there'll be independent contractors/mercenaries that will work for the highest bidder.
5. Could it work for a post-apocalyptic setting? After society has collapsed, or is it more "during apocalypse"?
It is more "pre-apocalypse". The stage where governments are trying hard to contain outbreaks.
6. What's a key mechanic that separates it from other games?
The Zombies and Ravenous are terrifying to face. Though the Ravenous might have guns, they mostly work with improvised weapons. With that in mind, DEA, Cartel, Policia, and mercenaries will need to make GUTS checks in order to engage an enemy bearing down on them, or fall back. This will allow hordes of poorly-armed models to paralyze and overwhelm their better-armed opponents.
So there you have it, a bit more of an insight into Drug WarZ. The game can be overrun with Zombies, but could just as easily see Cartel minions facing done the DEA and Policia. Sounds pretty cool to us.
On our way to the first Stretch Goal!

Thanks very much to everyone who has joined us recently, and to everyone sharing the campaign with their friends and gaming groups! Every share helps us get closer to unlocking all the cool packs we have planned.
Drug WarZ - The Game
Yesterday we had a chat with Richard Johnson who is writing the rules for Drug WarZ. These rules are based on the Iron Ivan game No Room Left in Hell, with expanded rules for larger forces. When I asked Rich for a quick description of the background of the game he said this:
"What would happen if a popular new synthetic drug was contaminated with an out of control viral agent? Some shadowy government agency thought that eliminating the buyers would be a faster way to end the War on Drugs than trying to eliminate the suppliers. However, the viral agent mutated and instead of simply killing its victim, it took over the host body. It suppressed pain receptors and sought to spread itself. Now, the DEA, the Policia and the Cartel are all trying to contain these outbreaks, but there is still good money to be made on the drug as it is highly addictive. Those that don't "die" and come back as the Ravenous are so addicted that they war amongst themselves trying to get their next fix."
That sounded very cool to us, and we looked through the Brigade Games back catalog for minis that could be very easily used as roving gangs of the Ravenous. Here are some cool minis from the post-apocalyptic ranges that we are adding to this campaign as Add-Ons that you can purchase along with your Drug WarZ minis!
To add any of these to your pledge total, follow these steps:
1. Click on the "Manage your pledge" button
2. Click on the "Change your pledge" button
3. Increase your pledge amount by the total of the add-ons you would like.
4 Click "Confirm" and you are all good!
Tomorrow we'll have some more info from Rich about Drug WarZ, so stay tuned!
Woohoo! We are funded!

Thank you, everyone, for your faith in this project. It has taken us a little bit to get here, but we are now funded and have quite a bit of time to put a few stretch goals under our belt. Next up is the first Cartel Command pack, featuring someone quite famous in the drug world!
After the Cartel we have first of the DEA packs, and then we thought you'd like to see a little teaser - the Policia Command pack, on its way.
Drug WarZ rules
Rich Johnson is currently working on expanding the scope of No Room Left in Hell to include larger forces, and I know you're all interested in some aspect of the game that will be Drug WarZ. Let us know your question in the comments below and we'll get some answers out of Rich this week.
